Welcome Spring! The newest newsletter can be found under the classes tab. Watch for all of the wonderful opportunities to gather with other quilters and rughookers. As a special note, we will be a Quilts of Valor drop-off location and will be hosting a quiltmaking work session each month. Please come share your time and talents for this very rewarding cause.

Christmas In July July 18-20 Once again, we will be teaming up with Crooked Needle (Findlay), Nautical Needle (Marblehead), and The Door Mouse (Bettsville) for the very popular "Quilts, Kits, & Cookies" Holiday Tour July 18-20. Passports can be purchased for $5 at any of the participating shops. You will receive a free pattern at each shop, cookies, and recipes. We hope to see you there!

Quilts of Valor is a wonderful cause that we are proud to take part in. Sewing dates at the shop are May 31st 9-2, June 17th 10-5, July 3rd 10-2. Other future dates will be listed on the website and in future newsletters.

Primitive Ewe Wool Studio sets Black Swamp Quilt Shoppe apart from the rest of the quilt stores in the region! We have a large selection of felted wool that is hand dyed by the owner. Call the shop for a sample of swatches currently available. The colors and textures are stunning! Look for seasonal bundles on the website; and, watch for color swatches to be added often. You may call the shop for special orders or color combinations if you are not finding what you need, as the selection in the store is much larger than what is currently available on-line.

Rughooking Information can be found on Cindi Gay's website www.cindigayrughooking.com. Cindi teaches at the shop one Saturday each month. This is a fun hobby and group of people to work with. We are blessed to have such a renowned rug hooker in our area and to have her teach here!
